The CROXS CRA160Hi-A is an AC mains-operated protection relay test set designed for testing digital, numerical, and static relays at fixed installations in Indian DISCOM substations and T&C labs. It delivers 6 current outputs of 20A each (3×40A alternate) and 4 voltage outputs of 300V each, with analogue and digital output — supporting IEC 61850 GOOSE testing alongside conventional relay testing, output power up to 160W at 40A and 90W at 300V.

Built for digital substation commissioning, the CRA160Hi-A supports IED communication testing, GOOSE message verification, and scheme logic verification for utilities transitioning toward digital substation architecture. AC mains operation (100–240V, 50–60Hz, 10A max) eliminates battery management.

Standard interfaces include 2 RJ45 Ethernet ports, USB, and a grounding terminal, with optional GPS/BDS time synchronisation, Bluetooth, and WiFi available for end-to-end or wireless test applications. Field-ready design includes 8 isolated binary inputs, 4 relay binary outputs, a 9-inch display, and an 8 kg / 315×240×140 mm chassis. CE / EAC / ISO certified.
